They’re going to dig a big hole in Cherry Way in front of Primanti’s and run the batmobile into the ground, or out of the ground.
Currently, this is all supposed to happen between 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 and 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13. However, there’s word on the batphone that could be delayed as much as a week.
Next weekend, they’re going to shoot on Smithfield Street from the Boulevard of the Allies all the way to 6th Avenue. That will be going on from Friday night to Monday morning.
Here’s the big one: Wednesday and Thursday Aug. 17 and 18, Batman and Bane are going to be chasing each other all over the place.

About 1 p.m., the tarp was removed from the Batpod or signature motorcycle and wheeled into Mellon Institute, presumably for a stunt in which Catwoman drives it out of the building and down the steps. A Pittsburgh
ambulance was admitted behind the barricade to be closer to the set at that point.
An hour later, a gun-metal gray Lamborghini with a license plate that was a shortened form of BANKRUPT screeched up to the intersection of Fifth and Bellefield avenues. Christian Bale — as either Bruce Wayne or Batman — was not at the wheel. A stunt driver then rounded the bend and went down Fifth Avenue as all heads turned in his direction.

Just came back from my equipment fitting for the football scene. Uniforms are pretty awesome. I got some peeks at the rigged explosions on the field. Supposedly during the return of the opening kickoff the field will start to blow up behind the returner and the field will cave in w/ players falling over the edge.
They look good. Underarmor. Black jerseys gold numbers. Black pants I believe. Rapid city is blue and lime green. Did not get a good look at rogues emblem on helmet. I am on the Rapid city team.

They are cheering & holding their guns in the air while someone come’s out of The Tumbler.
I think that is Bane coming out of The Tumbler. What do you guy’s think?
Bane vs Batman on the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania set of The Dark Knight Rises!!! Now, before you idiots complain again about Bane. Its just like Heath in TDK. He looked weird in the set photo’s, but was translated brilliantly in the promotional marketing & on screen. And besides, Bale is bigger then Hardy in real life anyways.
